Splendid City Scheduler works very well. It does take a little time learning the UI flow (it is not very intuitive). However, the flexibility of the product is excellent.

Worked great for evenly distributing our schedule for 2 divisions. I did struggle with how to get the software to split the schedule on 2 to 6 different fields and with a time limit for the end of the day. Case in point I had 14 teams playing only on saturday split across 7 fields and starting at 10:15 and ending at 11:15. I did manage to get it done but alot of hunting and pecking at different settings. THe end time for the field was the most difficult to get through. It worked out however and I appreciate the time savings. Once you get a couple of these items ironed out I woould reccomend it to our soccer club for the long haul.

Good for basic schedules. It did not recognize restricted times. also, when structuring a schedule with fewer time slots than required for a full league, it does not provide a list of unplayed games.

The system and/or the terminology is too complex. Particularly for a scheduler. Users want to input TEAM NAME, # OF TEAMS, # OF ROUNDS, LOCATIONS, and have home and away calculated.
There seems to be a lot of more complicated information required, and with names that most people don't understand. A simple round robin scheduler without all of the bells and whistles would be useful!

Thanks so much for this program! It did exactly what I needed, and I strongly recommend this program for anyone who needs to schedule tournaments and athletic events. As a local athletic director, I used to have to this by hand, and Splendid City simplified it all. Thanks so much y'all!

It didn't have the exact scenario I needed but it had enough flexibility that I could get the basic schedule done and modify it for our purposes. It worked pretty well and the help tutorial was very good. I hope to never have to use it again and that someone else from our organization will handle scheduling in the future. I would consider purchasing it if I was going to use it a lot.

Why can I not remove the program from my computer. It came in with a virus that continues to crash my pc daily. Norton has located the virus in the Splendid city uninstall file. Please advise.

I down loaded Splendid City Sports Scheduler. I opened it to give it a try and my Norton Systems Anti Virus software went nuts blocking attempts made on it by virus called Packed.Generic.200 It was not to much later my system crashed. I was able to restore, but system crashed again. I was able to restore just long enough to remove your software. Run a complete scan and quarantine the bug. Needless to say I won't be re-down loading Splendid City.

Can`t use off-line scheduling system
I can't use the program. I need an on-line scheduler allowing individuals to sign up for court times. Individuals would not be able to displace/edit/delete those already scheduled. The tennis courts scheduler would be managed by an administrator.

Excellent Program
This is one easy program to use. In our sports association we have basketball, soccer, baseball and softball. All easily scheduled with the program. I did buy the professional edition after realizing that i could not print the schedules with Lite but for the price, it was nothing. Swapping game times for coaches who coach 2 different age divisions in the same sport on the same day was a total breeze. Never before have we ever been able to do schedules this easily. My only complaint is that after you create a schedule, then find out that a coach can not coach on a certain day - for example - the Constraint list is hit or miss on fixing the updated schedule. Sometimes i had to try umpteen times to get it to work, other times it took it on the first try. Overall though, its an outstanding program and makes very nice export files to the web.
